- Search the 'deep web' - information not indexed by search engines.
- Conduct X-ray searches to find candidates, resumes, biographies or profiles.
- Use innovative methodologies to reveal the brightest talent and how to reach out to them quickly!
- Find full names of people who are not in your LinkedIn network and how to contact them.
- Use basic search skills effectively: “quote marks” , stop words, and more.
- Discover hidden profiles.
- Find specific details: locate email addresses, find conference attendees and more.
- Search on Twitter, Amazon, Facebook.

Lois Grimshaw

Lois is the author of the training course "Internet Search Techniques: Boolean & Beyond".

She has trained hundreds of executive search professionals across Europe. She is now acknowledged as one of Europe’s leading trainers on Internet Research Techniques.

Lois began her career in technology as a Systems Analyst at the Ministry of Education in British Columbia, Canada, where she championed the early adoption of videoconference technology and drove its growth as an accepted method of connecting people effectively for education, justice and healthcare uses across the Province.

She moved to London from the west coast of Canada in 2009, and now teaches people how to get the most out of FileFinder and the Internet in her role as UK/EMEA Partnership Manager for Dillistone Systems.
